SOLUTION: This partition device consists of a stationary wall 10 of a hollow rectangular shape, a first moving wall 20 slidable in parallel with the surface 11 of the stationary wall 10 between the housing state that this moving wall is housed in the stationary wall and the projecting state that the moving wall projects from the stationary wall and a second moving wall 30 slidable in parallel with the surface of the stationary wall between the housing state that this moving wall is housed in the first moving wall and the projecting state that the moving wall projects from the first moving wall. The device has a housing casing 80 mounted at the surface of the stationary wall and a curtain mechanism 40 spreading in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the stationary wall.
