PURPOSE: A method for playing a previous video slowly on a broadcasting satellite receiver is provided to display the previous video in a slow video, if a viewer wants when watching a broadcasting satellite. CONSTITUTION: A method for playing a previous video slowly on a broadcasting satellite receiver comprises the steps of: watching(S100) a broadcasting satellite; storing(S200) an image signal with a certain amount, applied to an NTSC(National Television System Committee) encoder(60), to a memory section; deciding(S300) whether a viewer watches a slow screen for a previous screen; switching(S400) a playing button of the slow screen by using a remote controller(90) when the user decides to watch the slow screen; transmitting(S500) image data with a slow speed to the NTSC encoder(60) by a controller(80), when the replaying button of the slow screen is switched; and transmitting the image data transmitted from the NTSC encoder(60) to a TV monitor, when the stored image data is transmitted, and displaying(S600) to the viewer. |
