PURPOSE: A method for automatically adjusting voltage controlled oscillation(VCO) is provided to automatically compensate, by examining tuning operation for receiving a channel after inputting regular channel frequency to a tuner, in a TV set accepting a frequency synchronizing(FS) form. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically adjusting voltage controlled oscillation(VCO)comprises the steps of: having a data table about voltage controlled oscillation(VCO) frequency for optimum tuning; receiving regular channel frequency when it is an adjusting mode of the VCO frequency, performing tuning operation, and deciding whether the tuning operation is exactly performed; accessing fine tuning data from the data table, when deciding the tuning operation is not exactly performed; correcting the VCO frequency on the basis of the accessed fine tuning data.
