PURPOSE: A CD recording method for an audio system is provided to select a track in which a desired audio signal is recorded by voluntarily setting a CD recording sequence and recording an audio signal recorded in a CD to a tape according to a set sequence. CONSTITUTION: It is judged as to whether an intro-reproducing key signal of a key input unit is inputted(S101). An intro-reproducing operation is performed when the intro-reproducing key signal is inputted(S102). It is judged as to whether a storage key of the key input unit during the intro-reproduction is inputted(S103). A control unit stops an operation of a CD deck(12) and store a track number in which a current reproduced audio signal is recorded to a first register(S104). The control unit operates the CD deck for performing the intro-reproducing operation from a next track(S105). It is judged as to whether an up key of the input is inputted(S106). The control unit stops the operation of the CD deck, shifts a track number stored in a first register to a second shift register, and stores a current reproduced track number to the first register(S107). A register number is increased according to a number of input of a down key and a current reproduced track number is stored to a corresponding register(S109).
