METHOD FOR RECORDING/RECOGNIZING RECORDING TIME INFORMATION OF VIDEO TAPE

PURPOSE: A method for recording/recognizing recording time information of video tape is provided to enhance a convenience of a user by searching a recording position according to a recording time of a video tape using recording time information and reproducing a wanted portion. CONSTITUTION: A time information detecting block(41) detects recording information recorded in a control pulse. An amplifying unit(43) receives detected recording information and amplifies received recording information, and then generates a clock having a variable frequency. A buffer(42) receives the generated clock and outputs an input data according the received clock. A time information decoding/outputting unit(44) receives the input data inputted from the buffer(42) and decodes the received input data, and then outputs a bit stream with 32 bits.
