PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the preparation cost required to the design/production of a multi-cylinders engine by diverting a control device relating to the ignition and fuel injection of the existing engine, on an engine control device. SOLUTION: An engine control device for controlling the fuel supply and ignition timing of a multi-cylinders engine in which the cylinder train having n cylinders is paired up is provided with a control amount set means 2 for n cylinders for setting the control amount relating to the fuel supply and ignition timing of entire cylinders based on the operation state of an engine, a first control means 4A for n cylinders for outputting the control signal to n cylinders of a first cylinder group with the ignition order of an odd number out of 2n cylinders based on the control amount signal set by the operation state of the engine and control amount set means 2 and a second control means 4B for n cylinders for outputting the control signal to the n cylinders of the second cylinder group with the ignition order of an even number, a signal composing means 6 for composing a knock signal outputted from the knock detection means 22R, 22L provided on respective cylinder train and a knock control means for n cylinders 3 for outputting an ignition timing amending signal to the control amount set means 2 based on a composed knock signal. |
