PURPOSE: A method for displaying a video recording state is provided so that a viewer can know the video recording state, by displaying video recording state data of a VCR(Video Cassette Recorder), stored when a TV is on. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying a video recording state in a composite television comprises the steps of: deciding(S1) whether main power supply of a composite television is on; deciding(S2) whether a reservation video recording is on when the main power supply is on; storing(S3,S4) data of a video recording state, recording a program of a reservation video recording channel, by using a VCR(Video Cassette Recorder) when the reservation video recording is on; deciding(S5) whether the reservation video recording is off, storing the data of the reservation state; stopping(S6) the video recording when the reservation video recording is off; deciding(S7) whether the television is on after the video recording is stopped; displaying(S8) the data of the video recording state during the predetermined time, when the television is on; and returning(S9) to the step of S1 when the main power supply is not off, by deciding whether the main power supply is off after the data of the video recording state is displayed. |
