PURPOSE: A method for managing branch malfunction of a financial computation network is provided to transmit to work terminals in each branch, when transmitting common telegrams from a host to the each branch, and to automatically change managers of branch networks in communication levels, and to automatically inform information on branch management from the host to corresponding persons in charge. CONSTITUTION: A method for managing branch malfunction of a financial computation network comprises the steps of: appointing a work terminal as a representative terminal among the branch terminals; a malfunction generating terminal informing to a host, when the malfunction is generated in branch terminals; the host receiving information on the malfunction, and informing to a relay; the relay deciding whether the representative terminal is normally operated; and informing the information on the malfunction to the representative terminal when the representative terminal is normally operated.
