摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an optical wave guide, an optical amplifying device and an integrated optical amplifying apparatus is provided to form a multi-channel optical wave guide and manufacture a high purity optical wave guide by manufacturing an optical wave guide device and an optical amplifying device using a sol-gel method. CONSTITUTION: A V type groove portion(31-1) is formed on one side on a substrate(30). V type groove portions(31-2,31-3) are formed on the other side on the substrate(30). An optical amplifying device(33) in which a class layer and a core layer are formed by a sol-gel method is installed to an intermediate portion of the substrate(30). An optical fiber(32) is optically aligned with the class layer and the core layer of the optical amplifying device(33) and is installed at V type groove portions(31-1,31-2) and groove portions(31-3,31-4) of the optical amplifying device(33). A laser diode(34) for an optical pumping is installed at the optical fiber(32).
