PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing pellet-like dry ice in a high yield, capable of usefully recovering a highpurity carbon dioxide gas vaporizing in a molding device for compressing molding a snowlike dry ice into a pellet state. SOLUTION: A fine pressure difference meter 32 is arranged in a housing 11 of a molding apparatus 1 for obtaining a dry ice formed into a pellet state by jetting and expanding a liquefied carbon dioxide gas to form a snowlike dry ice, compressing the dry ice by rotary rollers revolving along the inner face of the peripheral wall of a cylinder, packing it into molding holes and extruding it to the outside of the peripheral wall on the inner face of a peripheral wall of a die which is cylindrical and is equipped with the plural molding holes passing through the peripheral wall along the vertical wall. A recovery blower 31 capable of being subjected to inverter control changing a sucked amount according to the signal of the fine pressure difference meter is installed in the housing and the recovery blower 31 is successively equipped with a compressor and a freezer. Positive pressure is always kept in the housing 11 of the molding apparatus 1 to recover and to reuse an excessive vaporized carbon dioxide gas. |
