PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select a right unit image and to display an accurate three- dimensional display on processing for making three-dimension from a no. of two-dimensional ultrasonic images obtd. by a two-dimensional ultrasonic image forming means even when speed of movement of an ultrasonic oscillator is changed on every scanning stroke of the ultrasonic oscillator by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: No. of unit images set by a unit image no. setting part 41 is taken in an arithmetic part 42 and no. of sheets of two-dimensional radial ultrasonic images is read. In addition, a pitch interval Ps for taking the unit image is obtd. from the no. of the unit images and the total no. of the two-dimensional radial ultrasonic images and on every counting of a no. corresponding to this pitch interval Ps, a gate in a gate circuit 51 is opened and only the unit images are extracted and taken in the three-dimensional ultrasonic image forming apparatus 50 and other ultrasonic images are thinned-out. |
