PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass sash free from dew condensation and glass detachment upon occurrence of a fire or the like by forming a notch at a recess for mounting the glass of a metallic exterior member, and engaging the thin plate part of a resin interior member in a contact state. SOLUTION: The upper stile, the lower stile or the like of an inner sash is formed as a metal-resin composite stile with the combination of a metallic exterior member 10 and a resin interior member 30, and the metallic exterior member 10 is a long-sized material with a glass mounting recess 15 formed on a body 14. A plurality of notches 20 are formed at the lengthwise intermediate part of the lateral portion 16 and the vertical portion 17 of an interior side plate 11. The resin interior member 30 has approximately the same height as the metallic exterior member 10. In addition, one side 31 of the resin interior member 30 is formed as thin plate type and an engagement piece 33 is provided at the end periphery of the side 31 for engagement with the end periphery of the vertical portion 17 of the metallic exterior member 10. Also, the other side of the resin interior member 30 is provided with the first and the second hollow parts 34 and 35, and an engagement piece is provided for coupling to an engagement part 19. Pair glass 5 mounted within the recess 15 is held with remaining parts 21. According to this construction, heat conduction can be reduced and the occurrence of dew condensation can be prevented.
