<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate carrying device for which the replacement function of a stock plate and a product plate is unnecessary, which is simple in constitution and made at a low cost while the plate carrying device is provided with both functions of the carry-in and carry-out of the plates. SOLUTION: Relating to a plate carrying device, a stock plate W1 is carried into a plate working machine 1, and a product plate W2 is carried out from the plate working machine 1. A moving means 30 of the rectangular coordinate system is provided to move a traveling body 27 in a first direction (X-axis direction) along a separating direction of the plate working machine 1 from the plate storage device 2, and its orthogonal direction (Y-axis direction).
