PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a problem occasioned by an erroneous feed of a tube. SOLUTION: A device 30 to form a heat-exchanger core assembly having a plurality of elongated tube 16 arranged at a header member 12 and adhered to an opening is disclosed. The device is provided with a table 40 and a pair of header carriers 42 and 44 to effect horizontal reciprocating movement. Further, the device includes a tube arraying means to arrange and array a plurality of tubes on the table. The arraying means is provided with a pair of elongated horizontally arranged guide members. Each of the guide members includes a base part and a plurality of finger members 72, and is extended in an up state vertically from a base part. A guide mechanism includes a plurality of elongated slots opened in an up state and arranged between the finger members. Each of the finger members is elastically deformed and the guide member is formed of an elastomer material so that it is returned to an original state when a force is removed.
