PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moisture absorbing and emitting synthetic textiles having excellent moisture absorbing and emitting properties and fashionable graceful transparent patterns by partly opal processing cloth comprising moisture absorbing and emitting polyamide fibers and polyester fibers in an alkaline opal processing solution. SOLUTION: The polyester fiber of the cloth comprising a moisture absorbing and emitting synthetic fiber composed of a moisture absorbing and emitting component comprising a modified polyalkylene oxide obtained by reacting a polyalkylene oxide, a polyol and an aliphatic diisocyanate and polyamide and at least one kind of polyester fiber, is partly opal processed by the alkaline opal processing solution to obtain the moisture absorbing and emitting synthetic fiber having hygroscopicity >=1.5% after leaving the cloth having equilibrium moisture regain at 60% RH and 25 deg.C for 30 minutes under 90% RH at 34 deg.C and moisture emission >=2% after leaving the cloth having equilibrium moisture regain at 60% RH and 25 deg.C for 30 minutes under 60% RH at 25 deg.C.
