PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated and processed material with functionality such as silky touch, soft handle, UV cutting properties, etc., by using an aqueous solution of glycine, etc., and chitosan as a treating agent and impregnating a fiber substrate coated and processed with a synthetic resin with the aqueous solution. SOLUTION: An aqueous solution of at least two of glycine, sericin and chitosan is used as a treating agent. A fiber substrate such as a natural fiber, a synthetic fiber, etc., coated and processed with a synthetic resin such as a urethane resin, etc., is impregnated with the aqueous solution to provide a coated and processed material with functionality. |
