PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an acrylic polymer coagulated product from an acrylic multi-layer structured polymer latex to be prepared by emulsion polymerization by the coagulation method which can give improved molded articles excellent in optical properties without causing a whitening phenomenon even when dipped in hot water. SOLUTION: An acrylic polymer coagulated product can be obtained by coagulating, with the use of a coagulant, an emulsion latex of an acrylic multi- layer structured polymer in which the utmost outer layer is composed of (1) 40-100 wt.% at least one methacrylate ester unit and 0-60 wt.% another monomer unit copolymerizable therewith and is a hard layer having a glass transition temperature of not lower than 25 deg.C when the methacrylate ester alone is polymerized and at least one inner layer is composed of (2) 40-99.9 wt.% at least one acrylate ester unit, 0-60 wt.% another monomer unit copolymerizable therewith, and 0.1-5 wt.% polyfunctional monomer unit and is a soft layer having a glass transition temperature of lower than 25 deg.C when the acrylate ester alone is polymerized. In this instance, the residual amount of cations derived from the coagulant is not more than 200 ppm.
