PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inner socks for shoes which prevent the sweating of the feet, are inexpensive and are friendly to the environment. SOLUTION: The front surface of a base sheet 2 consisting of a paper material is provided with many recessed parts 3 over the entire part thereof. The rear surfaces of the feet are hardly sweat in the positions of the recessed parts 3. The moisture, etc., of the feet are eventually absorbed in an inner sock body 1 in portions exclusive of these recessed parts 3. The area of the inner sock body 1 in contact with the air is increased by the front surface and the recessed parts 3 and the inner sock body 1 is made of paper and, therefore, the inner sock body 1 is liable to be dried in the state of taking off the shoes, and substantial moisture evaporates at the time of putting on the shoes again. In addition, the inner sock body 1 is put into the shoes, by which the moisture and oil components of the feet are absorbed in the inner sock body 1 and consequently, the moisture and oil components absorbed in the sock itself are decreased and always a dry, crisp feel may be obtained.
