PURPOSE: An electric connector for PGA(pin grid array) package is provided to enhance electric characteristic and to reduce the height and thickness. CONSTITUTION: An electric connector(1) for PGA package comprises a base housing(2), a cover (4), plural conductive terminals(3) and a moving structure(5). The housing has a flat bottom face, and plural containing openings(7) corresponding an array. The cover is mounted to be slided on the housing, moves between a first inserting position and a second coupling position, and has plural through holes of array form. The conductive terminals are respectively inserted into the openings, and have a base parallel adjacent to the bottom face of the housing, a mount(6) for fixing the terminals of the housing, a tail(12) contacted to conductive portion of a circuit member, and a pair of spring arms(9). The structure moves between the first inserting position and the second coupling position.
