LCD HAVING ANCHORING PART ON AT LEAST ONE CONFINED PLATE PROVIDING DEGENERATED ALIGNEMENT

PURPOSE: LCD removes unnecessary memory on a surface of a confined plate by a thin film layer, and prevents that a substrate absorbs a liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: LCD has a liquid crystal material being inserted between the two confined plates (1,2). At least one plate(2) forms a degenerate direction anchoring without a direction alignment memory. A processing cuts off absorption area on at least one confined plate of at least one confined plate(1 or 2). The processing selects a material consisting of the confined plates, or selects a cover part on it. The material has a polymer having a liquid chain or a high movability chain, and does not have any absorption area. Thereby, the LCD removes unnecessary memory on a surface of a confined plate by a thin film layer, and prevents that a substrate absorbs a liquid crystal.
