PURPOSE: A semiconductor IC for communication and a method for saving power of battery are provided to easily adapt the load shift in data speed or data processing by controlling a data receipt circuit and a micro controller with independent clock. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor IC for communication comprises reference clock generators (1,17), a system clock generating circuit(4) and a division circuit(2) connected to the reference clock generators(1,17), a micro controller circuit(69) connected to the system clock generating circuit(4), and a data receipt circuit(3) connected to the division circuit(2). The division ratio of the division circuit(2) is controlled by the micro controller circuit(69). The data receipt circuit(3) consists of a synchronous correction circuit(5) and the other part. |
