A water purifier comprises a can (1) for the purified water, which contains a funnel (6) with a cartridge for a cleansing agent. The can has a lid (9) with a central member (11) which enables the lid to be removed and which indicates when the agent is exhausted. The display agent (14, 15) is located in an opening (13) in the lid upper surface (12), and the display (15) can be seen from above. An electronic, battery driven circuit (18) monitors the spent agent. |
