PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet change device which eliminates the need for a drive device for exclusive use and besides has simple structure. SOLUTION: A pallet grasping arm 20 to grasp pallets 7 and 9 between a pallet support body 4 is rotatably arranged at the table 1 of a machine tool and a pallet placing table 10. Through lowering of a main spindle head 35, the pallet grasping arm 20 is raised through a link mechanism 36. Rotation of a pallet support body 4 is transmitted to a pallet grasp arm 20 through a power transmission mechanism constituted through engagement between gears 12 and 24 arranged at the pallet support body 4 and the pallet grasping arm 20 to change the pallets 7 and 9 from each other.
