PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting method and a transporting device of molten metal, with which the oxidation and the absorption of hydrogen in the molten metal can be restrained and the time required for the transportation of the molten metal can be shortened and the natural transportation can be executed. SOLUTION: When the molten metal is tapped into a ladle 12 from a molten metal holding chamber 11 at a melting furnace side and further, the molten metal is tapped into a molten metal holding chamber 17 at a casting machine side from the ladle 12, molten metal transporting pipes 13 and 18 are bridged between the holding chamber 11 and the ladle 12, and between the ladle 12 and the holding chamber 17, respectively. Then, the molten metal is transported with the principle of siphon through the molten metal supplying pipes 13 and 18 by evacuating in the ladle 12 and in the holding chamber 17 to make these under reducing pressure.
