PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating container with a push-button lock device that is compact and easy to unlock owing to such attachment of the lock device on the container as keeps the container body free from any increase in size. SOLUTION: This heat insulating container comprises a container body 2 for accommodating something to be kept warmed, and a lid member 4 pivoted for opening/closing movement on a top opening 3 of the container body 2. The lid member 4 is incorporated with a push-button lock device 20 for unlocking the lid member 4 when a preset unlocking push button 22 is depressed.
