PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for producing a (meth)acrylate ester and polyester (meth)acrylate. SOLUTION: This method is carried out by reacting an acrylic acid or methacrylic acid with a monohydroxy-containing compound or polyhydroxy- containing compound in the presence of catalyst and polymerization inhibitor in the presence or absence of a solvent by using a microwave energy as a heating means, thus obtaining an acrylate ester, methacrylate ester, polyester acrylate or polyester methacrylate.
