PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage for a linear motion guide, in particular of small type, structured simply and capable of being accomplished through lesser manufacturing steps. SOLUTION: A carriage has circulation path for rolling elements, at least one for each carriage leg, and each circulation path has a return passage, supporting region, and two direction changing passages to couple together the return passage and supporting region, wherein at least one of the legs 3a and 3b has at least one groove which admits insertion of insert pieces 32a and 32b, and the insert pieces include a means to change the heading of each rolling member 7.
