摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain the subject high-purity compound by the use of inexpensive raw materials in a high yield by carrying out a reaction in a specific solvent when a naphthalic acid (anhydride) derivative is reacted with a tin halide and urea in the absence of a catalyst. SOLUTION: A naphthalic anhydride derivative of formula I (R is H, a halogen or the like; and (m) is 1-4) and/or a naphthalic acid derivative of formula II is reacted with a tin halide and urea in the absence of a catalyst in an amide- based derivative solvent of formula III (R1 and R2 are each a 1-8C alkyl; and (n) is 2 or 3) to give the objective compound of formula IV (X is a halogen) such as chlorinated tin phthalocyanine, etc., 1,3-Dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone, etc. are preferable as the solvent of formula III. Preferably 0.2-0.4 mol of the tin halide and 0.5-5 mol of urea is used based on 1 mol of the compound of formula I and/or the compound of formula II. The amount of the solvent of formula III used is preferably 2-8 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of the compound of formula I and/or the compound of formula II.
