PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize reuse of a glass sheet, efficient use of sources, decrease in the production cost and environmental preservation while avoiding direct discard of a liquid crystal, and to prevent pollution by dipping a liquid crystal panel glass main body in a sodium hydroxide soln. so that a pair of glass sheets sealing the liquid crystal can be easily detached. SOLUTION: A sodium hydroxide soln. 2 is reserved in a detaching tank A which is equipped with a housing rack L to mount plural liquid crystal panel glass bodies 1. An ultrasonic tank B is installed outside the detaching tank A and is filled with cold water W or warm water W to conduct ultrasonics. Moreover, the tank B is equipped with oscillators S on the bottom or side faces. The sodium hydroxide soln. 2 is agitated by the oscillators to accelerate detaching of glass sheets which seal a liquid crystal. Or, the detaching tank A or housing rack L is designed so that they can be moved upward and downward. Thus, when ultrasonics are added to the sodium hydroxide soln. 2, movement of waves can be efficiently supplied.
