PERMANENT MAGNET GENERATOR STORED IN DISKETTE, AND THE DISKETTE WITH GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet generator with high output and a body thin enough to be assembled in a diskette and to provide a diskette with a generator. SOLUTION: A permanent magnet generator has a permanent magnet 212 rotating with a boss 211. The permanent magnet 212 includes a rotor 21 with a plurality of poles in a circumferential face and a plurality of magnetic teeth, made of soft magnetic material and arranged in a circumferential direction and extending flatly outward. Each magnetic tooth has a magnetic pole at its end in accordance with the magnetic pole of the permanent magnet 212 with a gap in between. The magnetic pole of the magnetic tooth and the other end thereof are joined with a back yoke. Each magnetic tooth has a stator 22 with a stator winding around it. The overall shape of the permanent magnetic generator is flat, and the thickness of the magnetic tooth extending outside in a flat shape is smaller than that of the permanent magnet. The permanent magnet generator can be incorporated into a 3.5-inch diskette.
