PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electret condenser microphone with case of manufacture and higher performance than that of a conventional electret condenser microphone, without causing dispersion in the performance due to dispersion in the thickness of the electret layer or the like which differs from the conventional electret condenser microphone. SOLUTION: This electret condenser microphone of a back pole electret method is formed, where a condenser part is formed with a diaphragm 7, a back pole plate 4 as an electrode plate placed behind the diaphragm 7 and an electret layer 5 formed on the surface of the back pole plate 4 toward the diaphragm 7. The back pole plate 4 is formed by spraying a spray liquid 100, with dispersed FEP fine particles, to a brass plate 200 which is a material of the back pole plate and sintering the plate to obtain the electret layer 5, which is processed into a desired shape.
