PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera with a printing function, capable of printing images immediately after image pickup and simplifying an image processing. SOLUTION: This digital camera with the print function is provided with an image pickup element and a recording means for recording the images picked up by the image pickup element in a recording medium, by using a line head constituted of plural nozzles and is capable of selecting and connecting one kind of power source from the plural kinds of power sources, a detection means for detecting the kind of connected power source and a control means 10 for controlling an effective driving dot number for permitting simultaneous heating by the drive of one time in one line in the line head which corresponds to the kind of power source detected in the detection means are provided for a digital camera. Thus, when matching the pixel number of one side of the output image of a CCD 103 and the pixel number of one line of a printing head are matched and outputting the print of the image for which one side is the length of one line, the software processing of resizing is omitted.
