PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print out data in color for a source signal with fidelity by converting reflected light of advanced print on print paper in color based on source signal data into a color signal, extracting the signal discriminating and correcting propriety of the extracted color signal and printing the result on the print paper based on the source signal data. SOLUTION: A print paper sheet 10 whose blank is advanced-printed that is placed at a left end of a print paper path guide section 41 is guided and passed by the print paper path guide section 41. An advanced print image read control section 45 of an advanced print image read section 42 allows a light projection section 44a to project a ray to a printed part of the print paper 10 passing through the section 41 via an advanced print image detection hole 43 and a reflected light detection section 44b receives the reflected light from the print image and converts the light into a color signal and extracts it. A print paper 10 is guided by a platen rubber roller 25, printing is started for an advanced print image 12 provided along the left side of the print paper 10 and when the print paper 10 advances up to a main print image, the main printing is started. In the main printing, the image is continuously printed by correcting the advanced print image 12 while referencing its print state.
