PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor provided with a magnetic card reader capable of preventing the occurrence of read error caused by dust or the like. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a turning mechanism 14 for supporting a magnetic card reader 10 so as to freely turn it between a housing position to house a reading groove 11 of the magnetic card reader 10 in a housing part 13 while opening it downward and a using position to hold the reading groove 11 of the magnetic card reader 10 out of the housing part 13 while opening it upward. Thus, when the magnetic card reader 10 is not used, since the reading groove 11 is turned into closed state by the housing part 13, dust or the like is hardly put into the reading groove 11. Besides, dust or the like put into the reading groove 11 in the case of card reading at the using position is dropped from the reading groove 11 onto the housing part 13 by housing the reading groove 11 into the housing part 13 while opening it upward after that reading and at the time of the next reading, dust can be removed so that the read error caused by dust or the like is prevented. |
