PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide audio data and a moving picture with less delay and intermission with quality in matching with capability of each terminal independently of its processing capability. SOLUTION: The data communication terminal is provided with a main storage device 20, a network interface 40 that receives a data packet from a network 50 and transfers the packet to the main storage device 20, and a central processing unit 10 that processes the data packet transferred to the main storage device 20. The network interface 40 discriminates whether or not the received data packet is a data packet that can be aborted and stores the received data packet that can be aborted to a 1st reception buffer 42a and stores other packets to a 2nd reception buffer 42b. Furthermore, the network interface 40 is provided with a data abort control section 48, which discriminates whether or not the data packet received by the 1st reception buffer 42a satisfies a preset received data packet abort condition and aborts the data packet stored in the 1st reception buffer 42a based on the discrimination result. |
