PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device capable of preventing the rushing of paper into a cleaner, which may stop or damage the device, by making discriminable between the paper and a photoreceptor even when a temperature change is caused in the device. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a reflection type photosensor (3010) receiving reflected light from an opposed reflection surface and outputting an analog signal voltage and the photosensor (3010) detects whether or not a moved and carried image forming medium exists on the opposed reflection surface 307, and a temperature detection element 308, and decides an amplification factor to the received light analog signal voltage based on the detected result by the element 308 and the analog signal voltage obtained when the image forming medium does not exist on the opposed reflection surface 307 to make it possible to control the amplification factor for variably controlling the amplification factor to the analog signal voltage from the photosensor (3010) based on the detected result of temperature fluctuation detected by the element 308. |
