PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction processing function for suppressing the artifact generation of a processing object video signal due to the influence of an unknown transmission line without transmitting a reference signal in a blanking period. SOLUTION: The video signal 21 obtained by decoding encoded video data 20 by a video decoder 10 is transmitted as an analog video signal 22 by a D/A converter 11. In a video receiver 1, the signal 22 is re-sampled and digitized by an A/D converter 12 and then undergoes the descrambling processing of the video signal by a digital signal processing part 14. In this system, a reference video signal the pixel value of which is fixed by the unit of a macro block or a block is included in the signal 22 and transmitted. Then, the original position of the valid picture area of the video signal is corrected by a video signal correcting part 13 at the prestage of the part 14 by using this reference video signal. |
