ELECTRONIC PART FEEDER AND FEEDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity by feeding a required electronic part surely while switching quickly even when a variety of electronic parts are fed by a small number at a time. SOLUTION: In a part supply area R, a specified length of a series of required kinds of electronic parts 1 are contained removably in individual part cassette 33. Part feed moving tables 29, 30 mounting respective part cassettes 33 orthogonally to the containing/removing direction of the series of electronic parts are moved in the arranging direction of the part cassettes 33 and stopped at a part feed area P facing a part inserting mechanism section 7. In the part feed area P, the series of electronic parts is drawn out from a required part cassette positioned sequentially at a part take-out position through intermittent motion of the part feed moving tables 29, 30 by a length corresponding to a single electronic part 1 and then the tap is cut off thus feeding a single electronic part 1 to the part inserting mechanism section 7.
