PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of more reliably inputting information by simple operation and having the easily miniaturizing constitution. SOLUTION: A pulse number detecting sensor unit 32 and a rotational direction detecting sensor unit 33 irradiate infrared radiation to an optical pattern formed on the upper surface of a rotary bezel to generate pulse signals from the reflected light. A rotational quantity and the rotational direction of the rotary bezel are detected on the basis of these pulse signals. An origin detecting sensor unit 10 irradiates visible radiation to the optical pattern to generated a pulse signal from the reflected light. An area for reflecting infrared radiation and absorbing visible radiation is formed in one place of the optical pattern of the rotary bezel. When the origin detecting sensor 10 detects this area, since values of the pulse signals generated by the origin detecting sensor unit 10 and the pulse number detecting sensor unit 32 are different, the origin can be detected thereby. |
