PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely construct an image information registration and distribution environment capable of surely retrieving the registration images of respective registered users by providing a transfer means or the like for transferring compression image information, which is compressed by a compressing means, to an information providing server device while adding identification information. SOLUTION: A display control part 5 displays image information stored in a storage part 13 on a display part 4 and an operator judges which one of plural information providing servers is to register the image information displayed on the display part 4. When the registration is judged, an image processing part 11 performs the compressing processing of image information stored in the storage part 13. Next, a communication control part 7 transfers the compressed image information in the storage part 13 through a communication part 6 to the information providing server. Therefore, the image information registration and distribution evironment capable of registering the image intended by the user through simple operation into the information providing server device and surely retrieving the registration images of respective registered users can be freely constructed.
