PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a camera by setting the center of rotation of an inner barrier in space surrounded by a film housing chamber, a fixed barrel and a finder and effectively utilizing the front of a film housing chamber as retreat space for the inner barrier. SOLUTION: Relating to the camera that the inner barrier 10 is applied as the lens barrier for the camera, this lens barrier device is provided with the bearing part 38 of the inner barrier 10 in the space surrounded by the film housing chamber 16, the fixed barrel 14 and the moving lens 18 of the finder formed in a camera main body 12, the front of the chamber 16 is effectively utilized as the retreat space for the inner barrier 10, and the camera is miniaturized.
