PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture forming device in which safety is secured by preventing the occurrence of an electric shock caused by electric leakage on a fixing roller and abnormal heating and a damage is limited to a minimum. SOLUTION: A power supply plug has three terminals, i.e., an earth (G), a hot side (H) and a neutral side (N) where the side (H) and the side (N) are clearly distinguished. Then, a temperature over-rising preventing device 23 is arranged on the top side of a fixing roller 13 closer to the power feeding section side of the hot side with respect to the center CL of a maximum rolling paper width. During a fixing runaway, the device 23 is activated, the current is interrupted, no current flows in a heat generating body even though a leak occurs in an insulation layer and the current is surely interrupted.
