PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a more detailed answer message with finer distinction for a caller by selecting a message to be answered among recorded messages based on a caller's number, control code and measured time. SOLUTION: A memory 8 functions as a caller's number storage means and an answer message selecting means and caller's numbers, caller's names and control codes are registered. A control means 9 is equipped with a calling- side terminal-recognizing means, which recognizes a calling-side terminal from the caller's number, and an answer message selecting means which selects an answer message according to the caller, etc. A mobile communication terminal is provided with an 'answer message selecting function' for selecting the answer message according to the caller and a 'forcible calling function' for calling a terminal user, when there is an incoming call from a previously designated caller and those functions are controlled according to the time. The terminal user can, therefore, set the functions of the terminal corresponding to callers who are likely make the telephone calls.
