PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web data cooperation system for suitably storing image data or the like from a client in a server in co-operation with data on a network (web) such as an intra-net, and when the data of the server are changed from the client side, automatically updating information transmitted from the server, and to provide a method for controlling the system and a recording medium for controlling the web data cooperation system. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a transfer means 12 for transferring image data inputted from an input means 11 connected to a client connected to a network to a server connected to the same network without temporarily storing the data in the client side and then storing the data in a storage means 15. In the case of changing web server information, data changing information from the client is detected by the server, and at the time of detecting the information, the server, automatically rewrites HTML format data based on the changed contents.
