PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a case possible to emit light without making a light source itself visible from the outside by arranging a light source emitting invisible light partly in a transparent or translucent case at least and providing a means for converting the invisible light into visible light, which is applied at least on one surface of the case. SOLUTION: Invisible light 12 such as near ultraviolet rays outputted from a near ultraviolet generating device 11 reaches a case 10 formed out of a transparent or translucent substance, for example, plastics such as vinyl chloride and acrylic, glass, etc. In this case, a fluorescent material being a means for converting invisible light 12 into visible light 13, is mixed in these materials forming the case 10 beforehand. Therefore, the invisible light 12 of near ultraviolet rays, etc., outputted from the near ultraviolet generating device 11 reaches the fluorescent material in the case 10 and are absorbed and the visible light is emitted from the fluorescent material. For this reason, an invisible light source inside cannot be seen by a user but locks as if light was surface-emitted from the case 10.
