PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an adaptor to use wired subscriber terminals, such as a general telephone set and a facsimile equipment for the purpose of connection to a general indoor telephone line, in order to improve the convenience of a portable telephone set, when it is used indoor. SOLUTION: This adaptor 1 has a connector 12 for connection to a portable telephone set, which connector connects to an external connection use connector 31 of a portable telephone set 3 conducting digital signal processing, a wired terminal connection connector 13 connecting to an interface connector 41 for telephone line connection of a wired terminal 4 which conducts analog signal processing, and an internal circuit 11 having an A/D converter circuit 111 which conducts mutual conversion between an analog signal and a digital signal. The internal circuit conducts A/D conversion, relay and processing or the like for communication information and various kinds of control information with respect to the portable telephone set and the wired terminal. The internal circuit also supplies a DC power supply required for a line interface of the wired terminal.
