PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain provision of merits of viewers to view advertisement efficiently in matching with digital broadcast programs. SOLUTION: A broadcast signal includes program contents, advertisement, point information and cross-reference information. A decoder 12 obtains video and audio signals based on the program contents and the advertisement and output the signals on a monitor 20. A data decoder 13 outputs the point information and a program map decoder 14 outputs the cross-reference information. A point information generating section 16 generates points of an advertising program according to the point information and the cross-reference information based on CM specification information. An adder section 17 accumulates the points with an operation detection signal from an operation detection section 15 and stores the accumulated points to a memory 18. A receiver side can accumulates points by the point information multiplexed on a broadcast signal of one channel.
