THERMOCOUPLE COMPENSATION CONDUCTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermocouple compensation conductor with a plurality of insulating layers which has a sufficient heatproof insulating property and a high moisture-resistant insulation stability. SOLUTION: At least a pair of conductors 22a, 22b coated with a first insulating layer 28 are coated with a second insulating layer 30. The first, second insulating layers 28, 30 are formed of heatproof organic fibers and/or ceramic fibers, and a moisture-resistant paint is applied to the second insulating layer 30. A thermocouple compensation conductor 22 shows an insulation resistance value between conductors 22a and 22b of not smaller than 50 MΩ/m by a 500 V insulation-resistance tester after a moistening test for 285 h in an air ambience of an ambience temperature of 28 deg.C and a relative humidity of 95% and after a heating for 7 h in a 360 deg.C ambience.
