PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic data updating system for periodically checking the updating of a data file, automatically transferring information related to an updated data file to a client requiring the updated data file and facilitating the client to acquire the updated data file. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a management means 11 for managing data files and clients requiring these data files, an updating judgement means 12 for judging whether the data file is updated or not and an updated information delivering means 14 for transferring prescribed information related to the updated data file to the client requiring the updated data file. Then, when the certain data file is updated, prescribed information related to the updated data file is transferred to a client requiring the updated data file every time so that the client is supported in acquiring the updated data file and the client can always utilize the latest data file.
