DELAY RESET MODE MODEL FOR ELECTRONIC IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic identification system which includes at least one reader and transponders read by the reader. SOLUTION: The respective transponders have a normal operation mode 32 wherein a code 36 is sent to the reader in response to a call signal from the reader and a monitor mode 40 wherein the code is not sent although the signal from the reader is successively sensed and answered to. The reader sends a 1st signal S1 to a transponder having read the code to switch the transponder from the normal operation mode to the monitor mode. The transponder while in the monitor mode senses a 2nd signal S2 and is reset to the normal operation mode in response to the reception of the 2nd signal.
